meet Maple!! hi Maple!! 😀
her name has a few silly inspirations that would currently be spoilers to share, but her design is just supposed to be colored like maple leaves and I love it so much. I also really enjoy (and my sibling is affectionately horrified by) the idea of a society in which the Bee Movie is hailed as prescient social commentary :3
an update from march 12th:
there will likely be a delay of a few weeks before the next page!
this page wraps up the first class scene, which means the next page will be diving in to Holly’s therapy session, and I’ve realized I want to do a bit more fleshing out of Holly’s upcoming subplots before she starts unpacking them with her therapist–
