21.5: the latest news!

hi all! it’s me, the author, here with an announcement: Applesauce with Sprinkles, as in this long-form dramedy fiction comic about the young adult furries, will be going on indefinite hiatus, which probably means just ending.

I’ve been having so much fun creating this comic and am absolutely in love with the story, characters, etc etc, but due to various real-life circumstances I’m realizing it’s just not really sustainable for me to keep writing and publishing this particular story right now.

I’m so grateful to everyone who’s been reading and supporting my work in any form, and I’m very sorry to be drawing this chapter of AwS to a close. it is possible that I’ll revitalize this story sometime in the future, and in the meantime, I’ll happily welcome questions/comments/etc about this story via Patreon (or via real life if you know me there) if you guys have any you’d like to share!

I do very much want and intend to continue making and sharing comics — I have a couple projects in mind that I’m hoping will be a better fit for my current time and energy levels, and I’m hoping to launch those within the next few weeks or months! if you’re interested in those, I’ll be posting updates on Patreon, and I’m currently planning to keep the Applesauce with Sprinkles website up as a general hub for all of my comic projects, so once they’re ready they’ll be posted somewhere on here.

thank you all again for reading this, from the bottom of my heart. this comic may only have a handful of pages up, but the experience of creating it has been a many-year journey for me that’s taught me so much, and I’m so glad it got to see the light of day, if only for a little bit. 🙂
