14: what’s that spell? “Holly’s family”!

comic commentary time! 😀

it’s Holly’s family!!! they won’t be major characters anytime in the foreseeable future, so don’t worry about keeping track of them individually, but they’re a lot of fun to write and I’m v excited to give a lil’ glimpse into Holly’s background in and amongst the present-day plot stuff. there’s a lot to unpack about them and their dynamics, but all in all they’re pretty rad

artistically, I’ve been playing around with how I draw Holly and with how I do backgrounds! I’m thinking that going forwards I’ll try and have more of an establishing shot for new scenes (Holly’s in her new bedroom at the house right now, but it’s hard to tell), but GOSH this comic was so much quicker to make than many of my previous ones! I have made friends with the gradient tool :3
